Let us all build together, India of dreams !!

Greetings of the Republic day to all my fellow friends!! 

As a responsible citizen of our nation, we all have many dreams and agendas regarding progress and development of India in multiple aspects.

And we being one of the oldest civilizations in the world with a multi-coloured variety and rich cultural heritage deserve to be a superpower and have also achieved some socio-economic progress since Independence.

Being one of the youngest countries in the world, by the end of this decade, we as citizens of India, expect and believe that we will develop the potential to become a world leader in all aspects we have a presence in. 

Our democracy deeply relies on uncovering of

facts and a willingness to debate them. But this is a long journey and equal commitment from government and citizens will only be the key to this!! Hereby sharing some thoughts which when worked together by both government and citizens, can lead to miracles.

1. The Election commission identity card must be linked with the Aadhar card to remove the bogus and fake voters. This will also help in electing a responsible and stable government which is must for any republic to progress in all virtues. 

2.Use of more eco - friendly products which cause minimal or no harm to the environment and hence helps in zero carbon emission. Promotion and awareness camps for such initiatives should be funded by the government and NGO's on a larger scale. Also, citizens should switch to eco-friendly practices for their daily needs which will bring changes for us at ground level.

 

3. In order to curb fake currency and black money, expiry date should be mentioned on notes and currencies. Once the currency expiry date is reached, it should be exchanged in banks and financial institutions. Also, more use of digital payments can be a great option. Just a thought post-demonetisation, inculcated from social media!!

4. Education is the backbone of any developing nation, more importance should be imparted on its improvement and better implementation. High emphasis should be laid on practical research and innovations. This will help in generating better lifestyle of citizens and will promote the growth of new India.

5. Entrepreneurs and SME's should be given more funding and an incubation environment to promote their business and growth which will create employment for our fellow citizens too.

Promoting young start-ups and ideas will greatly accelerate our development multifold in all dimensions.

6. Awareness on RTI, Citizen Reporter portals and effective use of social media can help in tracking policies implemented by the government and helps in strengthening transparency.

Democracy is meaningful only when citizens are well informed. Here citizens should understand their responsibility, that they are too equally liable for the implementation of administrative policies undertaken by system.

I believe if this approach and undertaking if accepted in practical purpose, will not only solve the daily problems we face in India but also make India a better place to live and become a world leader which it deserves to be!
